A friend who blogs and is in S. Africa gave me the idea, even though she doesn't know it, to start blogging because it is a great way to remember the little details we forget later in life if we don't write it down. I bought notebooks to write in for each of the kids about a year ago and I have 2 pages written in them. Pretty sad!! Since I spend so much time at the computer I thought this might be easier to record those cute sayings and doings of my two beautiful kiddos. We'll see how it goes.
I will start with something Isaac, who is 6, said while doing school a few weeks ago. We were working on reading words with one vowel and 2 vowels. He was trying out can and cane. After he sounded them out he said "Cane, Vote for McCain". I laughed and asked where he heard that and he said on the radio. We listen to Rush and Hannity when we are traveling and obviously someone was paying attention.
Emma is just my sweetest little cutie pie and she says and does funny things all the time. I will also not correct her pronunciation on certain words yet because it is too cute and she will grow up soon enough. She likes to say this day?, last day?, mazagine,... I wish I could go on but I am drawing a blank now.
I have to stop now before I go too long and get in trouble for not doing my camp job! :)
