Isaac...

Ok now for some stuff I just don't want to forget about about my kids. Of course this will be added to as I remember more stuff. Let's start with Isaac:
Firstly and most importantly - Isaac giving his life to Jesus
Last year in August a bunch of our friends came over to our house to play and one of them was Isaac's Sunday School teacher, Miss Bekah. When they were getting ready to leave, Bekah gave some of the kids their Bibles they had earned for saying their Bible verses in SS. After everybody left, Isaac and I were sitting inside in my comfy chair talking about his new Bible. He starting asking questions about Jesus and what happens when we die. I told him that if someone asks Jesus into their lives and wants to live for Him then they go to heaven but if they do not want to live for Jesus then they go to hell. We talked about that for a little while and then he said, "Mommy, I want to pray". I told him ok and he proceeded to ask Jesus to come into his heart and that he wanted to live for Him. Boy, talk about a touching moment! The whole time we were having this conversation, Emma was in her room playing. About 30 seconds after he got done praying she came prancing out and chatting. It was perfect! We called daddy and told him Isaac had an announcement when he got home from town and he also later told Grandma and Grandpa when they got home as well. I told Isaac that this was a great day for him so we were going to celebrate by having pasta (his absolute favorite dish that he would have morning, noon and night if he had his way) for supper and we could watch a movie. The next day Isaac came up to me and said he had asked Jesus into his heart again and could we have another celebration. Too funny but I told him no, he had already asked Jesus into his heart.
The other grand moment in his life was when he got his first loose teeth while he was still 5, acutally about 5 1/2. He had 16 teeth by the time he was a year old so I should have known he would loose them before 6. He lost his first one, literally in his tummy. He was eating a hot dog and after lunch I noticed he was missing his tooth. When he lost his second tooth he wrote a note to the tooth fairy about his first tooth and the tooth fairy gave him $2. She also wrote back telling him not to swallow anymore teeth.
That's all I've got for now on Isaac but there is still more in the vault so it is to be continued...

All of these comments that you are writing down will be memories forever. Emma at the dentist's office, Caleb GERE, Isaac wanting to celebrate his conversion again. I laughed a lot. Thanks for all the sharing. I would never have time to do what you and Kathy do but it is fun to get on these blogs and read your memoirs. MOM
