I was remembering a story about Isaac the other day and the family and I were retelling the story to our new staff. Isaac is a very tender-hearted boy and he can get very emotional in certain movies. He has cried in "Cars", "Charlotte's Web", "Home on the Range", "Nemo", and many more. When he was around 3 years old, we were watching a DVD that Fred and Nancy brought up of Andre Rieu who is an awesome violinist. Isaac, at 3 years old, watched the entire thing which was about 1 1/2 hours long. At the end of the show Andre Rieu played a slow, sad song and his face was showing the emotion. Isaac was sitting on my lap and he looked at me and said, "Mommy, he misses his mommy" and he burst into tears and cried throughout the rest of the song. The rest of us watching tried to hold in the laughter.
My mom will want me to share this story. We were all at their house at Christmas, I believe, and a few of us went to see "Charlotte's Web" at the theater. My mom, along with my sister-in-law, Diane and Nicole and Natalie all sat in the back of the theater and Harry and I and the kids sat in the middle. There was also one other family sitting in the back of the theater. The theater was very quiet and towards the end of the movie where Charlotte dies, Isaac bursts into tears. Amongst Isaac's tears and my trying to console him, I hear muffled laughter coming from the back. It was pretty funny!
Isaac does spend more time laughing than crying though, just so you know!
